Sheffield hero Tony Foulds recieves the first Airmen tribute cast.

This is a bas relief panel I made recently as a tribute to the Allied Airmen who fought during the Second World War. Tony Foulds the former Sheffield schoolboy who witnessed the crash of the B17 Mi Amigo Flying Fortress USAAF bomber in his local park aged 8 is still visiting the park to care for their monument 75 years later. Tonys story and that of the 400+ Airmen who died that day inspired the making of this panel so it seemed fitting that the first cast from the mould be presented to him. Modelled in high bas relief from water clay, moulded in silicone rubber and cast in bronze resin. Open edition. Cast and framed to order, 2 - 3 weeks turnaround.
